Junior lightweight Katy Klinefelter, 129½, won a six-round bout over
Kerri Hill, 130¾. Also, Emily Klinefelter, 116¼, KO'd Savanna
Hill, 115½, in the first round. Both Klinefelters' are undefeated at
this time.

(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – The 2010 Women’s World Championships
team members are currently undergoing final preparations before
traveling to Dania, Fla., for their pre-event training camp, August
28-September 5. The U.S. squad will take part in a joint training
with Great Britain prior to departing for Bridgetown, Barbados on
September 6.

Promotions promoter, that Angel Gladney, who trains out of the White
Rock boxing gym is going to fight for the World Title on pay per
view. Gladney is set to be on the undercard of Sugar Shane Mosley -
Sergio Mora main event. Dominic Robinson Neal has done a great job
training Angel! We are proud of them both! The fight is on September
18, 2010. Kaliesha West (ranked #6 with WBAN) will be

(AUG 13) (COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) –
Just over a year after the IOC decision to add women’s boxing to the
2012 Olympic Games, the world’s top female boxers will convene in
Bridgetown, Barbados for the 2010 AIBA Women’s World Championships.
The 2010 event, which will be contested September 9-18, will be the
sixth edition of the competition and the first since the IOC
announcement. The United States hosted the first Women’s World

(AUG 7) Last night at the Hard Rock
Hotel & Casino, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the fight between Holly
Holm and Jaime Clampitt ended in the first round, after Clampitt
fell to the mat after clinching with Holm. Clampitt
dislocated her shoulder and was unable to continue. Holm was
