PUEBLA, Mexico (dated on October 21, 2026) – The women of USA Boxing's Elite High Performance Team took center stage on day four of the 2026 PanAmerican Championships, driving the team's momentum as the tournament enters its critical medal rounds in Puebla, Mexico.

Texas native Noelle Haro (51 kg) ignited the day for the American women, making a successful tournament debut in the flyweight quarterfinals. Haro defeated Guatemala’s Dulce Diaz, sweeping all five judges’ scorecards for a definitive 5-0 unanimous decision victory. The win secures Haro her second major international medal of the year and punches her ticket to the semifinals, where she is set to face Mexico’s Valeria Amparan on October 23.

In other quarterfinal action, Kendra Samargis (75 kg) fought valiantly in the middleweight division but fell short in a tightly contested 4-1 split decision against Venezuela’s Maryelis Yriza.
