(MAY 30) -TOPPENISH, WA – Women’s boxing takes center stage in the Pacific Northwest on Friday, June 12, as Natasha Spence and Maricela Cornejo square off in a highly anticipated 10-round rematch for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) International Middleweight Championship title.

Hosted at the Legends Casino Hotel Event Center on the grounds of the Yakama Nation in Toppenish, Washington, this championship bout headlines a six-fight card promoted by Roy Jones Jr. (RJJ) Boxing.

Spence and Cornejo first fought  at Legends Casino Hotel last August 12, 2025,  for the WBA Inter-Continental Middleweight title.
In that bout, Spence won by a  unanimous decision with scores of 59-55, 59-55, and 60-54. Cornejo returns seeking redemption from their first bout.  Spence aims to claim the prestigious WBA International title.

The event is sponsored by RJJ Saving the Kids, an innovative global child abduction charity operating under the powerful slogan, “What are we fighting for? "We are giving boxing a new meaning," said co-founder Roy Jones Jr. Leading the corporate responsibility and community mobilization effort alongside the charity is Flatirons Church, a prominent non-profit organization partnering directly to advance the mission of rescuing children and supporting vulnerable families.  The undercard features two powerhouse heavyweight bouts alongside matchups highlighting top local boxing talent from across the region.

Doors at the Legends Casino Hotel Event Center open at 6:00 PM PT, with the first bell scheduled for 7:00 PM PT (10:00 PM ET).
