(MAY 29) NEW YORK, NY — Legendary Puerto Rican boxer Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano has
officially announced that 2026 will likely mark the final chapter of her
historic 17-year professional boxing career.
The unified featherweight world champion intends to hang up her gloves at the
conclusion of the year to transition into a full-time executive role. Serrano
(48-4-1, 31 KOs), who currently reigns atop the featherweight division, has
solidified her status as one of the most decorated female boxers in the sport.
Over nearly two decades, she has continually pushed the boundaries of women's
sports, notably capturing the prestigious Women's Boxing Archive Network (WBAN)
Pound-for-Pound World Title in two separate weight classes. This rare accolade
underscores her absolute dominance across different divisions and her enduring
legacy as a multi-weight pound-for-pound elite."I have spent 17 years giving my
everything to this sport, experiencing incredible highs and overcoming major
challenges," said Serrano.

come true. Now, as part of the Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) family, I feel it

Before stepping away, Serrano is focused on completing a few historic milestones
to cement her legacy. Serrano enters her final stretch just one knockout away
from tying Christy Martin’s historic record of 32 female career knockouts.

Serrano’s farewell tour begins this Saturday in El Paso, Texas, where she puts

born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn, Amanda Serrano is the first Puerto
Rican undisputed world champion of the four-belt era and holds the Guinness
World Record for the most boxing world championships won in different weight
classes by a female (seven divisions).
