International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame to Honor Japanese Legends Naoko Fujioka and Momo Koseki in Las Vegas

(JAN 31) LAS VEGAS, NV – The International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) is proud to announce that 2026 IWBHF inductees Naoko Fujioka and Momo Koseki will be celebrated at the upcoming IWBHF Induction Ceremony that takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Hailing from Tokyo, Japan, both athletes represent the pinnacle of excellence in women's boxing, bringing a combined legacy of multiple world titles and more to the Hall of Fame.

Meet the Inductees

Momo Koseki, of Tokyo, Japan, a two-weight world champion dominating the atomweight division. As an amateur, she won three national amateur titles. On the Pro end of her career she won the WBC Atomweight holding it from 2008-2015; winning the WBA Atomweight in 2015; the WBC Strawweight title in 2017; and making a record-breaking seventeen Consecutive defenses of her WBC Atomweight title during her career. Fought from 2007-2017.

Naoko Fujioka, 19-3-1 (7KO), of also of Tokyo, Japan, boxing career began with a strong amateur background where she won five Japanese amateur championships between 2001 and 2009. She transitioned into professional boxing in 2009. Fujioka's captured world titles across five different weight classes that included: WBC Minimumweight title; WBA Super-Flyweight title;, WBO Bantamweight title, WBA Flyweight title, and WBO Junior-Flyweight title. Fought from 2009 to 2022.

"We are thrilled to welcome these two icons from Japan to Las Vegas," the IWBHF President Sue TL Fox stated. "Their contributions have been instrumental in growing female boxing on a global scale, and we look forward to honoring their Remarkable achievements."

Another exciting addition to this weekend in Las Vegas, is that we will be in conjunction with the Beautiful Brawlers who are having an amateur show on Friday, October 9th,  that will be at the  Center Ring Boxing 2, 2900 N Torres Pines, Las Vegas, NV 89108
