(JAN 3, 2026) Now that 2026 has arrived we will be doing a variety stories of our inductees, special award recipients and about our upcoming event that takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada, in our fourth time to have our event in Las Vegas! Without further ado--meet Germany's Raja Amasheh! 

The International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame is proud to announce that Raja Amasheh, nicknamed "Raging Raja", of Germany is one of our top 20 IWBHF Elite Inductees who will be celebrated and honored at our upcoming event, Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Raja Amasheh moved to Berlin with her family at the age of three and a half months. She began kickboxing and Muay Thai in 2002, adding amateur boxing in 2007. As an amateur, she was a WKA Kickboxing World Champion and a multiple German Vice-Champion in amateur boxing before turning professional in November 2008.

Raja Amasheh is a highly accomplished former multi-world champion, professional boxer and kickboxer with a professional boxing record of 22-1-1 4KO) (with 1 no-contest), 25 amateur fights and 105 kickboxing / Thaiboxing fights.

Her extensive career includes winning numerous world titles in multiple weight divisions and, following her retirement from active competition, taking on a significant administrative role in the sport.

Trained by Dominik Junge in Karlsruhe, fighting in the flyweight and super flyweight division. She became the WBF Intercontinental Champion on October 27, 2012, and on September 7, 2013, she won the vacant WBF World Champion title in the super flyweight division in Saarbrücken against Eva Voraberger. On May 17, 2014, she won the WBF and World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver World Championship belt against Susana Cruz Perez from Mexico, rising to number 1 in the flyweight world rankings. She has also held the WBO Super Flyweight World Championship title since March 2018 and the WBC Diamond Belt since September 14, 2018.

Following her retirement from active fighting, Amasheh has remained deeply involved in the sport. She has taken on a significant leadership role as the Chair of the Women's Ratings Committee for the World Boxing Council (WBC). In this capacity, she works on a systemic level to support and uplift the next generation of female boxers and guide the direction of the sport.

IIn recognition of her extraordinary career and contributions, Raja Amasheh was named among the inductees for the 2026 International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame class.
