Championship Bouts Set for the Bantam and Intermediate Divisions
by PR-Bob Trieger

(DEC 12) LUBBOCK, Texas – USA Boxing concludes the fourth day of competition at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships on Thursday evening inside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, in Lubbock, Texas, in partnership with Visit Lubbock. Day four was highlighted by 164 bouts, with 318 boxers stepping into the ring to try to punch their tickets to the semifinals or finals.

The day kicked off with the Bantam, Junior and Intermediate divisions, with 39 of the 76 bouts featuring female competitors. Seventy-one bouts went the distance in session one, while just one matchup was deemed a walkover. Zhaylia Souza, Lolena Kaleiopu, Eden Williams and Shania Mae Patricio each earned an RSC in their respective contests.

In the evening session, boxers in the Youth and Elite divisions entered the ring for 88 bouts, 35 of which showcased women’s competitors. Among those 35 female bouts, Noelle Haro stepped inside the ring for the first time this week, wasting little time and earning a second round RSC. Haro advances to the semifinals with the victory in her tournament debut and needs just one more win to secure an invite to the 2026 USA Boxing Elite High Performance Selection Camp in January.

Competition will continue on Friday with one session, beginning at noon CT, inside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. There are 104 bouts scheduled for Friday’s slate, including 43 championship bouts within the Bantam and Intermediate divisions. Friday’s action will open with semifinal matchups in the Junior, Youth and Elite divisions, before transitioning to finals matchups in the aforementioned Bantam and Intermediate divisions.

Each bout of the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships will be broadcast live on USABoxing.org, free of charge. Tickets to attend the remaining five days of competition at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships are still available and must be purchased at the door for $20 per day.
