(DEC 11) LUBBOCK, Texas  – That’s a wrap for day three at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships. USA Boxing completed another day of high-level, Olympic style boxing inside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock, Texas, in partnership with Visit Lubbock. Wednesday started with 76 bouts from the Bantam, Intermediate and Junior divisions and concluded with 87 bouts from the Youth and Elite divisions.

Day three featured female boxers at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships, the first of the week, with four Bantam female bouts, seven Intermediate female bouts, 10 Junior female bouts, 10 Youth female bouts and six Elite female bouts. Of Wednesday’s 163 bouts, 143 went from the opening bell to the final bell after 13 contests were stopped by the referee, five were recorded as walkovers, and two matches were deemed disqualifications.

A notable performance from Airam Ornelas concluded with a stoppage in the opening bout of the evening session, advancing the Youth Female contender to the semifinals of the 106 lbs. category. Boxing fans across the nation also saw Lavant Brownlee return to action in the Elite Male 154 lbs. division and RSC his second opponent in the tournament, this time in the third round during Wednesday’s second session.

Competition will continue on Thursday with two sessions beginning at noon CT and 6 p.m. CT, marking the final day of the tournament with two sessions. Friday and Saturday’s competition will each consist of one session beginning at noon on each day. Thursday’s action will feature 164 bouts, including seven in the Bantam division, 30 in the Intermediate division, 38 in the Junior division, 38 in the Youth division and 51 in the Elite division.
