(NOV 27) Camila Anae“Magnificent” Zamorano,
born on December 26, 2007, from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, is quickly making a
name for her, as she is quickly rising in Women’s Boxing. Zamorano is a name you’ll want to remember.
At just 17 years old, she has already etched her name in the annals of boxing
history, capturing the WBC Atomweight title and becoming the youngest female
boxer in WBC history to win a world title.

Zamorano's journey into boxing began at the tender age of 11, where she trained
tirelessly, honing her skills and competing fiercely. She had an impressive amateur
record of 53 wins and only 4 losses. Her transition to professional boxing came when she found herself
running out of competition in the amateur circuit.

On April 22, 2023, Zamorano made her pro debut, defeating Isabel Arellanes by
TKO in the third round, marking the beginning of an undefeated streak. Since
then, she has accumulated a professional record of 13-0-0 (1KO).
Making History with the WBC Atomweight Title
Zamorano's ascent in the boxing world took a turn in October 2024
when she captured the WBC female Atomweight International title by defeating
Norj Guro at Arena Sonora in her hometown. With this victory, she became the
first female boxer from Sonora to secure an international title.

Her determination shone through during her first title defense on January 25,
2025, where she faced Yoselyn Pérez. With a unanimous decision win. But her crowning
achievement came soon after when she claimed the vacant WBC interim female
Atomweight title on June 14, 2025, by defeating Mika Iwakawa. At just 17 years
and 180 days, she broke records, becoming the youngest person to hold such a
championship in the organization's history.
On October 25, 2025, she successfully defended her WBC female
Atomweight title against Sana Hazuki in Hermosillo, winning by unanimous
decision.
Potential challengers loom on the horizon, including Esneidy "La Leona"
Rodriguez, a talented boxer who currently holds the WBC Silver title and the
WIBA World Belt.
As we look towards the future of women’s boxing, Camila Anae “Magnificent”
Zamorano stands out as a hope and inspiration. Her remarkable
achievements at such a young age demonstrate not only her talent but her
dedication to the sport.
