(NOV 4) In a surprising turn of events, what was set to be an exciting Fight Night on Netflix featuring female boxing has been postponed. Originally scheduled for November 14th, the event has been sidelined following the cancellation of the Jake Paul versus Gervonta Davis fight.

The main catalyst for this postponement is Gervonta Davis's ongoing personal issues, particularly related to domestic violence allegations.  This isn’t the first instance where Davis has faced scrutiny over his relationships and lifestyle choices; his past has been marred by similar controversies, casting a long shadow over his boxing career.

Jake Paul, known for being outspoken, didn’t hold back on his feelings about Davis in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter). He called out Davis, stating, “Gervonta Davis is an actual walking human piece of garbage.” Paul described the fight buildup as a nightmare, highlighting the difficulties he faced while trying to work with Davis. The implications of such accusations not only tarnish Davis’s reputation but also raise questions about accountability within the sport.

In his post, he expressed regret for the situation and conveyed his apologies to everyone involved—particularly to the undercard fighters who were looking forward to showcasing their talents. “I didn’t want to give this woman abuser a platform to grow his fans and to grow his bank account,” he asserted, emphasizing that his company stands against such behavior.

For those who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, refunds will be processed automatically within 14-21 days, while secondary market buyers need to reach out to their respective vendors for assistance.
