(SEPT 8) Eight-time world champion and member of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Layla McCarter will be a special boxing guest at Al Bernstein's stage show Thursday, September, 11, at the Tuscany Suites and Casino. This event will help kick off the the big fight weekend of Canelo Alvarez vs Terrance Crawford in Las Vegas. This event continues Al's tradition of providing fun music shows for boxing fans leading up to big boxing matches in Las Vegas.

Al Bernstein said: "Layla is an icon in women's boxing and I've been thinking of some way to further acknowledge her achievements. Having her as an honored guest at this show seemed appropriate. I'll interview her on stage and boxing fans there can can interact with her and see a great champion in an informal and fun setting. She often comes to my music shows as an audience member so this time we can honor her presence and her many achievements."

The show will feature Al performing music of many genres including great American songbook blues and country tunes. There will also be a boxing trivia segment where audience members can win prizes. Talented Las Vegas singer Joe Dinunzio will be the special music guest. Kenny Davidsen is musical director for the event. There are shows at 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. There is no cover charge.
