Two Female Bouts Ignite the Oculus in

(JULY 9) Last night at the Oculus, in New York,
there were two female bouts on the card. The event showcased the grit and
determination of four female boxers who left everything in the ring.
In the first female bout, Krystal
Rosado-Ortiz, 117 1/4, of Carolina, Puerto Rico, has remained undefeated with
now a 7-0-0 (2KO), after she won a four-round unanimous decision over Agustina
Solange Vazquez, 114 1/2, of West Hills, California. The final score was 40-36.
In a second female bout with none stop action,
Elise Soto, 128 ¼, Carolina, Puerto Rico, won a four-round split
decision over Colleen Davis, 128, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The final judges scores were 37-39, 37-39, and 39-37.
