(MAY 3) On June 7, 2025, the boxing world will shift its gaze to the Caribe Royale Orlando, where two formidable fighters will meet in a  showdown. In this match, Beatriz “The Beast” Ferreira will defend her IBF lightweight title against the rising star from Buenos Aires, Maria Ines “Dinamita” Ferreyra. With both women bringing unique strengths and impressive records into the ring in this mainliner.  This bout was announced on Wednesday by a Most Valuable Promotions announcement and it will be live globally on DAZN.

Ferreira won the IBF Lightweight world title in April of 2024, when she defeated Yanina del Carmen Lescano.  She fought her first defense of her IBF Lightweight title against Licia Boudersa in December of 2024 where she easily defeated Boudersa with a 100-90 decision on all three judges scorecards. 

Beatriz Ferreira has made quite a name for herself in the boxing community since capturing the IBF lightweight title in April 2024. Her journey to the championship was marked by a victory over Yanina del Carmen Lescano.

Following her title win, Ferreira successfully defended her belt against Licia Boudersa in December 2024. This fight saw her dominate, earning a unanimous decision victory with all judges scoring the bout 100-90 in favor of the champion.

Standing across the ring will be Maria Ines Ferreyra, who boasts an impressive record of 11-0-1 with 6 KOs. At 28 years old, the Argentine challenger is ready to make her mark on the world stage.
