This Weekend:  Four Female Bouts Featured on Boxing Card in Flint, Michigan

(JAN 30) On February 2nd, boxing fans will be treated to an live boxing event at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan. This card, which promises to showcase female bouts on the card, and is headlined by  Claressa "T-Rex" Shields.  Will be streamed on DAZN.

The Main Event: Claressa Shields vs. Danielle Perkins

Claressa Shields, a local hero hailing from Flint, as she takes on Danielle Perkins from Houston, Texas. With an impressive professional record of 15 wins and no losses, including three knockouts, Shields is an undeniable force in women's boxing. She will be battling Perkins, who boasts an undefeated record of 5-0-0 with two knockouts.

This ten-round match is not just a title fight; it’s a chance for Shields to secure multiple championships simultaneously. The vacant IBF Heavyweight World title, WBO Heavyweight World title, WBC Heavyweight World title, and WBF World Heavyweight title are all on the line.

Undefeated Prospects Clash: Samantha Worthington vs. Vaida Masiokaite

In another female bout, Samantha Worthington will face Vaida Masiokaite. Worthington comes into this fight with an impressive record of 10 wins and no losses, seven of which were achieved by knockout. On the other hand, Masiokaite, though seasoned with a record of 10 wins, 26 losses, and six draws, she brings experience but she better bring her "A" game to fight the undefeated Worthington. 

A Clash of Styles: Caroline Veyre vs. Carmen Vargas

The third female bout features Caroline Veyre taking on Carmen Vargas. Veyre, who has a record of 8 wins and 1 loss, is known for her technical skills and strategic approach, while Vargas, with a record of 5 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, relies on her grit and determination. Their fight is an interesting matchup that could promise to deliver some excitement between these two. 

Ashleyann Lozada vs. Denise Moran

In the fourth female bout on the card, Ashleyann Lozada will be making her professional debut against Denise Moran, who enters the ring with an undefeated record of 3-0-0. Lozada, hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, is excited to begin her professional journey and show what she has trained for.  Moran, meanwhile, aims to continue her winning ways and capitalize on her experience in the ring.
