(JAN 19) LOS ANGELES, CA--- Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions kicked off the 2025 Season of The Best Monthly Boxing Series in Grand Style on Friday night in front of a sold-out Commerce Casino Events Center and broadcast live globally on UFC FIGHT PASS, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.

Among the big winners were World Ranked Featherweight Omar Trinidad, WBO Women’s Flyweight World Champion Mizuki Hirata, Super Middleweight Contender Ali Akhmedov and Fast-Rising Star Female Star Roxy Verduzco.

Headlining at the Commerce Casino Events Center for the fourth straight time in front of his huge legion of ‘loud and proud’ fanbase, ‘The King of LA’, Omar Trinidad, (18-0, 12 KOs), of Boyle Heights, CA showed his world class skills in a ten-round unanimous decision over Filipino veteran Mike Plania. In his third defense of his WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Title, Trinidad earned the impressive victory by scores of 100-90 twice and 99-91.

Fighting in front of WBO Featherweight World Champion Rafael Espinoza who intently watched from ringside, Trinidad controlled the action from the outset working behind a piston-like jab. Landing a huge overhand right in the third round, Trinidad sent Plania to the ropes trying to evade the attack.

World ranked #2 by the IBF, #6 by the WBC, #10 by Ring Magazine and #14 by the WBO, Trinidad kept the sold-out crowd on their feet as he continued to use an array of punches against the game but outgunned Plania throughout the fight.

WBO super flyweight world champion Mizuki Hiruta, (7-0, 2 KOs) of Japan made her highly anticipated U.S. debut in great form stopping Mexican veteran Maribel ‘Pantera’ Ramirez, (15-11-4, 3 KOs) of Mexico City in the eighth round of their scheduled ten rounder.

With renowned trainer Manny Robles guiding her, southpaw Hiruta proved as tough and strong as she is charismatic following a colorful and loud ring entrance. Dropping the valiant Ramirez at the end of the second round, Hiruta opened a bad cut over Ramirez’s left eye in the fourth stanza.

Staying aggressive throughout the middle rounds, Hiruta would earn the victory after an accidental headbutt forced referee Ray Corona to stop the fight in the eighth round with scores reported as 80-71 twice and 79-72.

Super middleweight contender Ali Akhmedov, (23-1, 17 KOs), of Kazakhstan impressed in his return to action with a show-stopping second round knockout of Malcolm Jones, (17-5-1, 10 KOs), of Indianapolis in the second round. Akhmedov used his full arsenal as referee Thomas Taylor called a halt to the contest at 1:17 of the stanza with Jones unable to continue.

Fast rising female star ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzo, (3-0, 1 KO), making her highly anticipated return to Hollywood Fight Nights, thrilling her legion of fans with a third-round stoppage of Lindsey Ellis, (2-2, 2 KOs), of Pleasant View, TN.

Battering Ells over the first two rounds, the southpaw Verduzo earned the stoppage as referee Ray Corona halted the fight at 1:34 of the third round.

Fighting in one of the best bouts of the night, female junior flyweights Gloria Munguilla, (7-1), of Los Angeles and Coachella native Brook Sibrian, (5-2) went to war throughout their eight rounder. Engaging quickly in the middle of the ring from the opening bell, both women set the tone for the fight.

Trading violent shots throughout with the crowd standing on their feet cheering loudly, Munguilla took control of the action in the sixth round with her more effective punches landing solidly. The final round proved the best of the fight as both women fought to the end, each landing tremendous power shots.

Scores at the end of an early ‘Fight of the Year’ candidate were in favor of Munguilla; 79-73 and 77-75, twice.

Popular bantamweight rising star Adan Palma, (11-0, 7 KOs), of San Diego, CA continued to shine at the Commerce Casino Events Center for the third time with a six round, highly competitive split decision victory over against Sharone ‘Smoke’ Carter, (14-9-1, 3 KOs), of St. Louis, MO. Fighting the awkward Carter, Palma appeared to continuously land the harder, more effective punches throughout the fight.

Super welterweight Joshua Anton, (9-0, 8 KOs), impressed in his Hollywood Fight Nights debut with a unanimous decision over Las Vegas’ Cameron Krael, (21-34-3, 7 KOs). The tall southpaw Anton, fighting out of Palmdale, CA,worked steadily throughout the entertaining fight to keep the tough Krael off balance. All three judges scored the bout 60-54.

19-year-old Alexander ‘The Alley Cat’ Gueche, (7-0, 5 KOs), of Long Beach, CA defeatedLito Dante, (21-14-4, 12 KOs), of Bohol, Philippines in a super flyweight six rounder. Dropping the valiant Dante in the first and fifth round, Gueche would dominate on his way to a unanimous decision by scores of 60-52 on all three judge’s score cards.

Southern California fan favorite, undefeated Tayden ‘The Butcher’ Beltran, (10-0-1, 5 KOs), of Huntington Beach, CA stayed undefeated with a third-round stoppage of faces Eugene Lagos,
(16-9-3, 11 KOs), in their scheduled six-round super featherweight bout. The bout was halted prior to the start of the fourth round.

Celebrities in the  crowd included NFL Hall of Famer and Los Angeles Rams Star Jackie Slater, the Fastest Rising Star in Boxing ‘King’ Callum Walsh, WBO Junior Welterweight World Champion Teofimo Lopez, World Ranked Super Welterweight Serhii Bohachuk, Boxing Superstar Ryan Garcia, WBO Featherweight World Champion Rafael Espinoza and Junior Welterweight Contender Cain Sandoval. Also taking in the fights from ringside were WBO Lightweight World Champion Denis Barinchyk, Hall of Fame Trainer Freddie Roach, Perennial Contender Gabriel Rosado, Max Golovkin, (brother of Gennadiy Golovkin), Kazak superstar singer Nurlan Saburov and Actor Frank Stallone.
