Stephanie Jaramillo former professional boxer and 2025 International Women’s
Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee has been appointed Commissioner / Board of
Directors of the New Mexico athletic commission, by The New Mexico Governor.
Stephanie said, “ I am very excited and honored to
be a part of the New Mexico athletic commission. I believe with my background in
and out of the ring, I can bring a lot to the table. I feel, I would be a great
commissioner for the safety of the athletes and well-being with all involved,"

Growing up in New Mexico, Stephanie's passion for boxing was ignited at a young
age, turning a childhood interest into a distinguished professional career.
Throughout her time in the ring, she showcased not only exceptional skill but
