(DEC 22) RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -  Thirty-seven champions were crowned during the final day of competition on Saturday inside the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Va. The Youth and Elite male and female divisions were finalized during day six, wrapping up an action-packed week and an extremely successful year for USA Boxing.

Among Saturday’s champions were 17 individuals, nine males and eight females, within the Youth division. Additionally, 10 females earned titles within the Elite division, while another 10 males earned titles within the Elite division.

Following Saturday’s competition, Thomas Covington was named the Elite Male Outstanding Boxer, while Alyssa Mendoza earned the Elite Female Outstanding Boxer honor. Salim Ellis-Bey was tabbed the Youth Male Outstanding Boxer, while Laila Zakirova was named the Youth Female Outstanding Boxer of the tournament. Javier Mitchell and Guadalupe Ruiz were named the event’s Junior Male and Female Outstanding Boxers of the tournament, respectively.
