(OCT 24) On November 2, 2024, at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Nevada, undefeated IBF Flyweight World Champion Gabriela “Sweet Poison” Fundora (14-0, 6 KOs), of Coachella, California will be facing WBA, WBC, WBO Flyweight World Champion Gabriela “LA Chuky” Alaniz (15-1, 6 KOs), from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

According to a press release from Golden Boy Promotions, they said that this is historic for the flyweight division, and that to date there has never been an undisputed female champion in the flyweight division.

The two will be fighting a ten-round bout, at two-minutes per round that will include vying the following. The Ring Magazine Flyweight World Title Belt, in addition to all the above named federation belts.

This female bout will be featured on the undercard on the Golden Boy Promotions card featuring Floyd Schohfield vs. Rene Giron mainliner. The bout is also co-promoted with Sampson Boxing.
