The International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame Event is set to be one of the most diverse of celebrations for our Inductees; Special Award Recipients and More!

(AUG 15) We are very excited to announce that the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) will be held on April 4-5, 2025, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The "Night of the Stars 2" event will feature a diverse group of inductees from various backgrounds, special award recipients, VIP guests, and more. Join us for this two-day Hall of Fame celebration in Vegas!

From groundbreaking pioneers to trailblazing champions, these women have shattered barriers and inspired generations. The event will not only honor their achievements but also serve as a platform to raise awareness about women's boxing and support its continued growth.


To begin with...let's look at our elite 2025 inductees!


Our elite IWBHF class of 2025 includes the following: Jackie Nava, retired multi-world champion, Mexico; Vaia Zaganas, retired multi-world champion, Canada, Kina Malpartida, retired multi-world champion, defending her belt five times, Peru, living in the USA: Jennifer Han, retired world champion, USA; Shelly Vincent, retired multi-world champion, USA; Helga Risoy, pre-modern boxer, 1990’s, Norway; Diana Prazak, retired multi-world champion, Australia, lives in USA; Kara Ro, retired world champion, Canada; Frida Wallberg, retired world champion, Sweden; Kathy Williams, retired world champion, Canada; Yvonne Caples, retired world champion, India, lives in USA; Jolene Blackshear, retired world champion, USA; Yessica Chavez, retired world champion, Mexico; Stephanie Jaramillo, pre-modern boxer, pre 2004, USA; Jill Matthews, retired multi-world champion, pre-modern boxer 1990’s, USA; Carlette Ewell, retired multi-world champion, USA; Yvonne Barkley, Pioneer female boxer from the 1970s-1980s, USA; Linda Platt, pioneer, one of the first females as a high-profile photographer; and Don King and Diane Fischer, long-time boxing promoters, USA.

Our special award recipients include the following:

2025 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient is Daisy Lang, of Bulgaria!  Daisy was inducted into the IWBHF in 2017; Brent Bovell, 2025 Beyond the Ropes Award; Patricia Orr, Photographer; History-maker Margaret McGregor, the only female to fight a male in a sanctioned bout that gained International Attention in 1999;  Award; Patricia Trejo, the history-first oldest to make a pro debut at the age of 52; Leaping Lena, history-first to be a boxing manager in the 1920's; and Chevelle Hallback, the oldest boxer to win a world title in her 50's.

The first day of our event in our pre-celebration:  We will be honoring
the "Women Cops Who Box"; and some of the above mentioned Special Award Recipients

Our Women Cops Who Box are the following:  Melissa Cooper, Alex Love, Tracy Byrd, Stephanie Han, Terri Moss, Ann Marie Carrizales, Kathy Williams, Kyana Williams, Melanie Costa, Nora Daigle, Nisa Rodriguez, and Irma Garcia Tor

The Induction ceremony/Dinner event  will be the second day of our event on Saturday, April 5, 2025:

This day we will celebrate and honor our 2025 Inductees, and some of our special award recipients. We will soon be having a press release on our VIP's, confirmations of attendees and more!

The host Hotel is the Orleans Hotel & Casino, In Las Vegas, Nevada.  We have a block of rooms that has a excellent rate for our event.
