(OCT 16) In a highly
anticipated rematch in women’s boxing, undisputed super
lightweight champion Katie Taylor will go head-to-head with
unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano on
November 15, 2024. The two fighters will battle it out for 10
rounds, with Taylor defending her titles. This fight will
be on Netflix.
In the co-main event, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will be involved
in Netflix and Most Valued Promotions’ (MVP) boxing partnership,
with the fight being streamed live worldwide on this date.
In the Serrano-vs-Taylor fight they fought in April of 2022,
that took place in a sold-out Madison Square Garden, in New
York. The bout ended in a split, with some feeling Serrano won
the fight, and others that Taylor won the fight. One thing for
sure in this observer’s thoughts, if they had been fighting
three-minute rounds, Taylor would have not made it after the
fifth round.
Some boxing fans are anticipating the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson
boxing match----but others are not keen on this matchup.
The anticipation for the Serrano-vs-Taylor rematch is palpable,
with fans eager to see if the judges' decision will be unanimous
this time. The fighters' previous bout showcased their immense
skill and determination, leaving spectators divided.
Additionally, the announcement of Jake Paul and Mike Tyson's
involvement in a boxing partnership has generated mixed
reactions among fans of the sport.
The collaboration between Netflix and MVP has certainly made
waves in the boxing world, and the livestream of the Paul-Tyson
fight is expected to draw a global audience.
The boxing world is no stranger to controversy and polarizing
matchups. While some may argue that the involvement of social
media influencers like Jake Paul dilutes the sport's integrity,
others view it as a way to attract new fans and inject
excitement into the industry. In any case, these upcoming fights
will undoubtedly spark debates and captivate audiences around
the globe, further solidifying boxing's enduring appeal.
