The International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame Announces the Date, Venue, and Details of the upcoming 2025 Two-Day Event!

(JAN 19, 2024) LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- This week the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame [IWBHF] "Night of the Stars II" is announcing our date, venue, and summary details of our next event!

Mark your calendars for our two-day event! Our next IWBHF Induction Ceremony event is a Two-Day event that will take place on  Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April  5th, 2025 that will take place in our homebase at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a quick review.....On  Friday, April 4, 2025 is our Night of the Stars II Pre-celebration. On the first day of our event, this upcoming event will be honoring and celebrating our "Women Cops Who Box!" 

There will be five (5) current and past law enforcement officers who made great strides not only in the Ring but being a remarkable Law Enforcement officer in their past or present position as a police officer.

In our last year's pre-celebration on our first day of our event, we honored and celebration three professional female boxers who were our Special Award Recipients that fought and still actively fighting, for 25 plus years!

Also at the pre-celebration day, we also gave a special  tribute to three pioneer female boxers, who were completely caught off guard with a surprise and unbeknowth to any of them at the time, were given a WBAN Mini-belt. They didn't have the opportunities of boxers of today for fight for belts as the WBAN Belt.   

Moving forward to our 2025 event....THE upcoming pre-celebration day on Friday, April 4th, !we will be honoring and celebrating our Women Cops Who Box  There will be  five (5) Special Award recipients who have worked in law enforcement (past and present) and boxed (past and present) in either the amateurs and pros where their elite achievements will be recognized and celebrated.


What a celebration last year with all of our fantastic board members who did a fantastic job with our 2023-2024 Induction Ceremony last October of 2023!  Wanda Countiss, Malissa Smith, Terri Moss, and Amy Green (photo)! 

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, we will be having our grand finale of the semi-formal IWBHF Induction Ceremony/Dinner in the Mardi-Gra Ballroom at the Orleans Hotel & Casino to present Awards and Recognition to our 2025 IWBHF Inductees.

The Orleans Hotel & Casino, is  located at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada.   This resort features a casino, a full-service spa, and 10 restaurants. The family can  enjoy the bowling alley, children's pool, and arcade/game room. It has four bars/lounges and the parking is free, and also has valet parking available.  The IWBHF will have a special group rate for our event.

The upcoming event marks our 11th year anniversary since the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) became in existence.  We have since inducted many of the top retired female boxers, and males who have contributed largely to the success of women's boxing.  For detailed information on all of our inductees throughout the years you can visit www.iwbhf.com

Nominating the 2025 Inductees:

Our cut off date for nominating IWBHF 2025 inductees in February 15, 2024, and we will make a formal announcement of our 2025 IWBHF Inductees shortly there after.   Please email your choice of nominee(s).  After the deadline, we will have our IWBHF Voting committee submit their top picks.
