(APRIL 19) A Press Conference
was held yesterday (Tuesday) for the upcoming rematch of Shields vs. Gabriels. Undisputed Middleweight World Champion Claressa
Shields went face-to-face with four-division world
champion Hanna Gabriels at a press conference in Detroit,
Michigan in anticipation of their fight that will take place at
the Little Caesars Arena, on June 3, 2023.
There is an highlighted video of the press release with Claressa Shields talking with the media and public in
attendance. She talks about her first fight with Hanna Gabriels,
and Gabriels background in comparison with her experience at the
time of their first fight. Shields wanted to rematch immediately
but she said that there were issues in obtaining the rematch.
Shields said in this fight she doesn’t want a unanimous
decision, she wants to go for the knockout. .
Hanna Gabriels arrived slightly late for the
press conference. In the second video, Hanna said it was a privilege to be there.
She talked about their first fight that took place in 2018.
She expressed that she felt the fight was closer than it was
scored, and that she was here to redeem herself. Gabriels said that Shields has accomplished so much and has
backed up her words. She said she is honored and privilege
to have this rematch. Check out the video for the full

The fight will be streamed on DAZN, in this ten-round title
bout.
