(JAN 31, 2023)  LAS VEGAS - The International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame (IWBHF) celebrates it 10th Year Anniversary with our “NIGHT OF THE STARS” Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Event that takes place in a two-day celebration scheduled on October 6-7, 2023 (Friday/Saturday) at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Due to 2023 being a huge Anniversary year and milestone for not only the IWBHF's 10-year Anniversary, but also our 25-year Anniversary of our associated partnership Women Boxing Archive Network (WBAN)----we have made this a unique year by inviting our  2024 IWBHF Inductees to also be included in this very special celebration at our Hall of Fame event.  

We are very excited to announce our twelve (12) 2024 IWBHF Inductees at this time with that  includes nine (9) modern female boxers, two (2) Non-boxer recipients, and (1) pioneer female boxer. So without further Ado, in the Modern Professional Boxers are the following:

Our nine modern female boxers who are all either retired world champions and/or multi-world champions Agnieszka Rylik, Poland; Daniella Smith, New Zealand, Suzy Taylor, Nevada, USA; Rhonda Luna, California, USA; Maria Jesus Rosa, Spain; Jacqui Frazier-Lyde, Philadelphia, USA; Esther Schouten, Netherlands, Stacy Prestage, Missouri, USA; and Sindy Amador, California, USA.

In the non-boxer and pioneer category, our elite 2024 IWBHF inductees are Judy Kulis, retired president of the IFBA, and boxing promoter, Lou Dibella of New York; and Canadian Jenny Reid boxing pioneer in amateur boxing.

As we previous announced in our first press release, we announced our 2023 IWBHF Inductees earlier this month which are the following: Kaliesha West; Sonya Lamonakis; Laura Ramsey; Kim Messer; Leah Mellinger; Jenifer Alcorn; Melissa McMorrow; Yvonne Trevino; and Melissa Del Valle. All out of USA, and either retired world champions and/or multi-world champions;   In our non-boxer and pioneer category we have the following: Jill Diamond Chastain; Bruce Silverglade and Dallas Malloy.

In addition, we have four special award recipients this year that include the following for our Saturday, October 7th Induction/Dinner Ceremony event that include the following: Marty Wynn “2023 Beyond the Ropes Award”; Stuart Breslow “2024 Behind the Ropes Award”; Regina Halmich of Germany “2023 Lifetime Achievement Award”; and Sumya Anani “2024 Lifetime Achievement Award”.

The above 2023 and 2024 IWBHF Inductees and the above listed special award recipients will be honored and officially celebrated on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 that will take place in the Mardi Gra Ballroom. Meet and Greet begins at 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the dinner begins at 6:00 pm (until 8:00 pm), with our “Night of the Stars” event beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Pre-Celebration "NIGHT OF THE STARS" event, will include Free Give-aways; networking opportunities with other boxers,  autographs, the Will Call table to pick up tickets; Photo/Video Ops; Pre-sale merchandise available and more!  We have some special awards going to two-active world champions, Layla McCarter and Chevelle Hallback for their longevity of boxing professionally 25 plus years; a Special award for pioneer female boxer Jamie Johnson from the UK, and posthumous Michael O’Neil, a long-time boxing advocate and journalist. It will be held in the Saloon (Espanada) Ballroom.  .

TWO-DAY CELEBRATION EVENT - OCT. 6-7, 2023

On Friday, October 6, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Pre-Celebration "NIGHT OF THE STARS" event, will include Free Give-aways; networking opportunities with other boxers,  autographs, the Will Call table to pick up tickets; Photo/Video Ops; Pre-sale merchandise available;  a no host bar, and more!
Pre-Celebration Night of the Stars will be held in the Saloon (Espanada) Ballroom.

On Saturday, October 7th, at our “NIGHT OF THE STARS” Gala event

5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Meet and Greet
The Gala Event to honor and celebrate our 2023 and 2024 IWBHF Inductees--along with our special award recipients, begins with a “Meet and Greet” at 5:00 pm, at the Mardi Gra Ballroom where the event is held.

6:00 p.m.  Dinner for Guests - Mardi Gra Ballroom
The huge assortment and choices of entrees, salads, desserts and more, with two no-host bars available.
