(MAY16) On Saturday, June 25th at Tech Port Center Arena in San Antonio, Texas, the undisputed welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill will fight tough Mexican Alma Ibarra.  McCaskill will be defending her WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO World titles.

McCaskill (11-2 4 KOs) captured her world title when she defeated Norway’s Cecilia Braekhus in August 2020 and beat her again in a rematch in March 2021, making her first defense of the crown. The Chicago fighter recorded her fourth career knockout victory in her second belt defence in December, knocking out Kandi Wyatt in the seventh round.

Ibarra (10-1, 4 KOs) also defeated Wyatt in an eight-round decision, showing great quality and power.

The card is headlined by Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez defending his WBC super flyweight title against former champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. Also, Julio César Martínez and McWilliams Arroyo meet for the second time for the WBC flyweight championship at stake.
