Marcela Nieto Wins UBC World Title

(DEC 27)  Colombian unbeaten female boxer Marcela "Destroyer" Nieto (4-0-0, 3 KOs) scored a seventh TKO over Colombian opponent Arlis Tapias (1-2-1, 0KO) and capture the vacant UBC World super flyweight title last Saturday, December 18th at the Tejódromo Enrique (Kike) Castillo in Turbaco, Colombia.

 

Nieto and Tapias had offer an exciting bout that added to the event. Nieto from Medellín City, Colombia is a strong fighter of Mixed Martial Arts that fought in Brazil, Colombia Mexico and Panama.

In the same event Argentinean-Ecuadorian unbeaten "Maxi" Oscar Maximiliano James (15-0-2, 12 KOs) won the vacant UBC World welterweight belt scored a TKO eleventh round over Colombian-Venezuelan opponent Cristian "La Tromba" Bautista. Colombian Samuel "Sugar" Ramos won the UBC Cencarbox featherweight title with an eight decision over Venezuelan opponent Pablo Molina.
