(NOV 20) Last night at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New
Hampshire, the female world title fight did not disappoint! The
two battled it out until the very end, with Reis having a
successful final tenth round going after Camara, even through
some noted exhaustion, nothing stopped these warriors making
every second count in this bout.
Coming into the fight, 35-year old Kali “KO” Reis, weighed in at
138 lbs., vs. Jessica “Cobra” Camara,
33, 136 lbs.
Another great world title fight
this month that did women’s boxing proud. Reis won by the judges scores of 97-93, 97-93, and
one judge for Camara 95-94. Reis retained her WBA Super
Lightweight world title, and gained the WBO and IBO Super
Lightweight world titles. Reis is now 19-7-1 (5 KO), and
Camara is now 8-3-0 (0KO). Kali Reis vs. Jessica Camara
was on the undercard of Andrade vs. Quigley bout.
Also, just in a post-interview with Camara where she reflects
about the fight in the interview.
