(MAR 8) I am deeply concerned that even in 2021 we are still having questionable title fights with one opponent that may be ranked high enough to possibly qualify for a belt and the challenger being ranked so low, you would have to look up just to look down.

Some of the federations that put on these title bouts make little sense---especially in today's world of women's boxing is inexcusable.

It was barely forgivable in the past when the pool of women boxers in weight classes was few and far between---but TODAY---all it is doing is setting the sport in a backward position.

I really love the excuses these federations make for ridiculous matchups where in some cases a female boxer has not even won ONE fight---and yet, she is in a title fight?  Give me a Break.

I could write a book on the lamest excuses given for bad matchmaking. 

The bottom line folks is that if we keep having female bouts matched where we obviously know who will win---or we keep getting "title" fights made with inferior matchups----where is women's boxing going to head in the big scheme of things? 

The price of making "Paper Champions" is huge in the sport in 2021, and in the future if people IN the sport care about raising the bar to being accepted in the mainstream media.
