(JAN 17) The 2020 USAB Olympic Qualification Team kicked off their final stretch in preparation for the Olympic Qualification Tournaments later this year!   The Team along with 13 training partners started a 5 week training camp this week that will lead Team USA to the Strandja & Boxam International Tournaments in late February and Early March.   For more details, go here.

Virginia Fuchs 32 years old, ranked #1 USA - has committed the last 6 years living at the OTC to be the 112 lbs. Boxing Olympian.  With many National and Gold World medals earned she continues to grind and make her way to the Olympic Podium.  So many changes have taken place and she continue to fight the best, adapt to styles and win.  She has come out on top on all 2020 international competitions. Camp is just a way of life for this champion and she is back with a vengeance, as usual.

Heaven Garcia  20 years old, ranked #2 USA - Boxing Prodigy. Heaven has been boxing since she was 9 years old and has won most major competitions in her perspective weight categories growing up.  Always fighting the best and always proving why she is ranked at the top at such a young age in the elites.  Nothing but great things to say about this young boxer who is being groomed to be the next young boxer to reach greatness.

Lupe Gutierrez 21 years old, ranked #1 USA -came out on top at the 2020 Olympic Trials. It was a Cinderella Story coming from the 7th Seed to face her most competitive boxing rival in the trials.  God wrote the story not us and after a 11-year commitment the time had come.  Lupe Gutierrez becomes the #1 in the Nation, the winner of the Olympic Trials and the USA Boxing National Champion.  In 2020 nothing surprised us, and the journey continues in Camp January 2021.

Andrea Medina 21 years old, ranked #2 USA- worked her whole life to be an Olympian and that dream is taking shape and she is winning Internationally.  Not letting her family or her team down.  Fighting her rival to take Silver in the Olympic Trials was a task at hand but making the Olympic Team was her story and becomes ours too. Medina continues her journey to the Podium, and we continue to see her grinding and winning.

Rashida Ellis 25 years old, ranked #1 USA- fought the best boxers in the 132 lbs. division and came out on top at the 2020 Olympic Trials. Not only is she national champion but has been on the Olympic Team. She continues her way to the podium with a nothing will stop me attitude.

Amelia Moore 30 years old, ranked #2- won Silver at the 2020 Olympic Trials.  She won International tournaments in 2018 and has made a name for herself in her division.  Moore continues her path and returns to the camp to show why she is one of the best boxers in the Nation.

Oshae Jones 22 years old, ranked #1 USA -a multi time National champion and World Champion. Jones won the 2020 Olympic Trials and has won every international tournament since then.  Coming from Toledo Ohio, this boxer never disappoints.  Her commitment and hard work are evident at every tournament.  She dominates and looks like she is having fun in every bout.  Looking to bring home the gold is just a way of life for Jones.

Arika Skoog 26 years old, ranked #6 in the Nation -continues her boxing journey as a sparring partner at the next camp.  Skoog has participated at the 2020 Olympic trials and came out 3-2.  She is aggressive and has proven herself.  This boxer does not quit, she will be at camp and ready to spar.

Naomi Graham 31 years old ranked #1 USA- not only did Graham win the 2020 Olympic Trials. Since then she has taken gold in three international tournaments and is paving the way for a gold medal at the Olympics.  Graham comes to camp ready and with a perfect sparring partner to keep her busy.  Naomi Graham is also USA soldier too. We Salute you.

Alexis Gomez, 26 years old took a bronze in the 2020 Olympic trials but what was incredible about this is that Gomez only had 10 amateur fights going into the Nationals / Olympic trials.  Gomez record going into the trials was undefeated even winning a bout internationally in her first 10 fights.  Gomez took her first loss ever to Naomi Graham at the trials. Gomez style is the perfect storm.  Her attack is unforgiving, and she is aggressive and very powerful. Gomez first time in USA camp.

A special "Thank you" to Blanca Gutierrez who has supplied all the biography info on these amateur boxers.
