(APR 19)  Many may not know this----but we had female boxers fighting 15 round (two minute each round) bouts, and one historical 15 rounder (three minute rounds) in 1983 (between Darlina Valdez vs. Holly McDaniel) in the 1980's!

The twin sisters Dora Webber and Cora Webber, both fought in scheduled 15 round bouts, in 1986 and 1984, and one 15 rounder was scheduled with Tammy Jensen vs. Sue Carlson in 1981!

Bout dates:   March 24, 1986 - Cora Webber vs. Laurie Holt; August 25, 1984 Dora Webber vs. Jackie Holley; February 17, 1984, Sue Carlson vs. Jackie Holley; and September 09, 1981 - Tammy Jensen vs. Sue Carlson ; October 21, 1983 - Darlina Valdez vs. Holly McDaniel.
