News: Asian/Oceanian Boxing Qualification for Tokyo 2020 Live on Olympic Channel

(MAR 2) MADRID –– Boxing’s road to Tokyo continues this week in Amman, Jordan with the Asian/Oceanian Boxing Qualification Events for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. From 3 to 11 March at Prince Hamzah Hall in the Jordanian capital, more than 221 athletes from 35 countries are scheduled to compete in 13 women’s and men’s events for 63 Olympic quota places at Tokyo 2020.

Fans can watch the action live on the Olympic Channel including all women’s and men’s bouts across all weight categories with commentary in English, Russian and Hindi beginning on 3 March at 11:00 EET (local time). Coverage will be available in all territories worldwide for free at olympicchannel.com and its apps for mobile and connected TV devices.

Providing commentary in English will be Ronald McIntosh alongside analyst Barry Jones. Providing commentary in Russian will be Roman Grishin alongside analyst Vadim Fursov. Calling the action in Hindi will be Raman Bhanot with analyst Raj Kumar Sangh.

Hosting the Olympic Channel live studio show during the quarterfinal, semi-final and finals matches will be an all-women’s team comprised of broadcast sports presenter Orla Chennaoui and two-time Olympic gold medallist and USA Boxing Hall of Famer Claressa Shields.

The Olympic Channel’s multi-platform coverage of the Boxing Qualifiers includes live streaming of all women’s and men’s bouts across all weight categories from the first day of competition through the finals in addition to commentary in multiple languages, highlights and news.
