“Tigre” determined there will be no spot on her name

(FEB 3) WBC Female super middleweight champion Alejandra “Tigre” Jimenez is waiting to be cleared by VADA, vowing that she and her team are clean.

Alejandra says her first test was negative, then a positive and then a negative. So she awaits the result of the B test, saying it’s very important to clear her name. She stressed sheer hard and honest work has brought her success, that she respects the WBC and would never do anything silly.

Her plans involve a rematch against Franchon Crews Dezurn, who she dethroned. But then to fight Claressa Shields for the WBC middleweight crown. Hopefully this year.

Alejandra says it’s a fight she really wants, and is confident she can reach the 160 pounds limit. For the battle against Crews she breakfasted and still came in at 164 pounds, well within the super middleweight limit. Four pounds more won`t be a difficult slim, especially with the workouts of the gym.

She describes Claressa as a fast moving, skilled boxer, but without: “The Mexican punch!”
