Two Female Bouts on card in Japan

On January 28, at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, there were two female bouts on the card.  In one bout, Kanako Taniyama faced Tomoko Okuda, and the two were fighting for the vacant OPBF (Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation) and Japan Female Bantamweight Title. The bout was a scheduled eight round bout, with Tomoko Okuda winning  by a TD after accidental headbutt (7th round). Final judges scores were 67-66 67-66 68-65 for Okuda. 

In the second female bout, Etsuko Tada vs. Ayaka Miyao. The were fighting the WBO Female Minimumweight Title at 105 lbs in a ten round bout.  The fight ended in a controversial draw, with final judges scores were 95-95 94-96 96-94.  According to many boxing fans viewing the bout, and this writer who covered the bout thought Miyao won the bout.  Photos by Samart:
