Seniesa Estrada Visits the Home of the Beautiful Brawlers!
by Blanca Gutierrez
June 5, 2019

(JUNE 5) On Monday, June 3, ahead of Seniesa "Super Bad" Estrada's fight on June 13th when she facesGretchen Abaniel, 18-10 from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines, Estrada 16-0 and her Dad/Coach Joe visited the Home of the Beautiful Brawlers, Babyface Boxing in Pacifica, CA for some good work.

The gym was closed for a private sparring session and Team Estrada was welcomed with open arms.

Olympic Hopeful and Beautiful Brawlers Champion Mariana Gonzalez, 112 lbs. out of Gladiators Gym in Redwood City, who recently qualified for the Olympic trials in Reno NV., and #4 ranked 106 lbs. Destiny Nino Beautiful Brawlers International Team, did not pass up the opportunity to get in the ring and spar with WBC Silver Light Flyweight Champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada.

Both USA top ranked amateur boxers got not only a great experience with a seasoned pro their size, they were absolutely good work for Estrada too.

I am so proud to see the progress in women’s boxing and in each boxer I have followed throughout these years.

I have watched Estrada as an amateur and then watched her bloom into a very solid professional. At 108 lbs. Estrada is ranked #1 in the USA and #13 in the world.

Seniesa was signed to Golden Boy Boxing which is a huge accomplishment. For years she could not get fights. For years she worked and never gave up. As a Golden Boy boxer she has stayed busy and ultimately the fans want to see her fight her stablemate Marlen Esparza.

I believe Seniesa Estrada will become a world champion one day. Her last two fights were in Mexico and if she wants to become the world champion, she will eventually have to face a Mexican Champion because they dominate the division.

Estrada is seasoned, sharp, aggressive and her punch power is strong for her size. I was not only impressed with the work I saw, I was captured by such a sweet and approachable person.
