(APR 13) Undefeated World Boxing Federation (WBF) Women's World Super Bantamweight Champion Segolene Lefebvre retained her title for the fourth time on Friday night, April 12, outboxing Argentinian Laura Soledad Griffa at the Salle Gayant in her home-town of Douai, France.

It was a typical masterclass performance from 25-year-old Lefebvre, who appeared to have the upper hand in every department and at times easily picked off the game Soledad Griffa (33) to win a wide unanimous decision.

Judges Grzegorz Molenda, Jerome Lades and Jean-Marie Natus all scored the fight 99-91 for Lefebvre, who took her record to 12-0 (1). Griffa, who´s only other blemish was a decision loss for the IBF world title last August, drops to 18-2 (1).

Also on the card, another local favourite didn't have as much success, as Mehdi Mouhib lost his WBF Intercontinental Welterweight title, and undefeated record, to Belgian Steve Jamoye in what turned out to be an excellent fight.

Jamoye (27), a pro since 2010, used all his experience to out-husstle Mouhib (29) in a toe-to-toe battle from first to last bell, and was deservedly awarded a unanimous decision after ten high-paced rounds with scores of 95-94 (Grzegorz Molenda), 96-93 (Christophe Hembert) and 97-92 (Jean-Marie Natus).

On a show promoted by Douai Boxing Club, the new WBF Intercontinental Champion improved his record to 26-7-2 (5), while Mouhib falls to 17-1 (11) but did his very best and can surely come back stronger and learn from the defeat.
