Many New Female Boxers Going Pro; and Making their Pro Debuts in August!

(AUG 27) In August of 2018,
we have had many female boxers who have turned Pro in many parts
of the world. I was amazed at how many women boxers we saw turn
pro in one month----some winning, some losing. WBAN
decided to introduce these new "Female Boxers On the Scene"!
LARA OCHMANN - GERMANY
On August 25th, at the Fitness Club Aiko Steffen,
Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, Lara Ochmann, 122¼, making her PRO
DEBUT, she won by a second round TKO [1:10] over Melanie
Wagenfuehr, 129¾, The bout was scheduled for four rounds.
Ochmann said on Facebook, "After 6 years of training I got a
chance yesterday to give my professional debut in boxing
successfully. I finished this in the second round by TKO. She
thanked many who helped her preparing her, encouraging her and
having trust in her, for her success in her first professional
fight.
Ochmann added, "But the biggest thank you is to my family and my
friends, who always stand behind me and support me in every
circumstances."

JADE TAYLOR - UNITED KINGDOM
On August 25th, at the Wythenshawe Forum, Manchester,
Lancashire, United Kingdom, super lightweight Jade "Blade"
Taylor, 136¼, of Lancashire, UK, made her PRO DEBUT, winning by
four-round points over Monika Antonik, 141.
Taylor said, "Just want to give a massive thanks to my team!
And...those who came and supported my pro debut! To have been
main event for my debut was a night to remember!"
According to LinkedIn, before she turned pro, she is reported to
have been a Muay Thai three-time British Thai Boxing Champion,
English Thai Boxing Champion. British womens lightweight Boxing
Champion. Represented Great Britain in Thai boxing 2015.
KAMILLA BOKA - HUNGARY
DIANA BORKOWSKA - HUNGARY
On August 20th in Dunaföldvár, Hungary, super lightweight
Kamilla Boka, 139, of Karcag, Hungary, won her PRO DEBUT against
Virag Horvath,144¼ by TKO [0:43] in the first round of a
scheduled four round bout.
On the same card PRO DEBUTER Diana Borkowska, 108¼, LOST by a
TKO against flyweight Cintia Cinjel, 110¼.
KANAE MAEHARA - JAPAN
MICHIKO ARAI - JAPAN RENA KOIZUMI - JAPAN
On August 20, 2018, at the Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan, Kanae
Maehara, 106, of Miyazaki, Japan won a four-round unanimous
decision over Michiko Arai, 105¾, of Saitama, Japan. Both making
their PRO DEBUT.
In a scheduled four-round bout
Rena Koizumi, 116, was featured in her PRO DEBUT winning by a
second TKO [1:43], over Saki Horiguchi, 115¾, of Toyama, Japan.
On August 18th, at the Deportivo
Municipal, Azcapotzalco, Distrito Federal, Mexico, flyweight
Erika Rodriguez Vilchis, 111¼, making her PRO DEBUT, of Mexico
City, won a four-round unanimous decision over Lourdes Jacinto
Torres, 111, of Puebla, Mexico.
In a second female bout, Sheila Segovia, 108¾, won a four-round
unanimous decision over Arlenn Sanchez, 104¾, PRO DEBUT, of
Hidalgo, Mexico. Final judges scores were 38-39, 37-39, and
37-39.
DANTARA MORALES - MEXICO
CRISTAL SOLIS - MEXICO
On August 17th, at the Club de Playa El Pescador, Quintana Roo,
Cancun, Mexico, light flyweight Dantara Morales, 107¾, making
her PRO DEBUT, of Quintana Roo, won a four-round unanimous
decision over PRO DEBUTER Cristal Solis, 107, of Yucatan,
Mexico. Final judges scores were 36-40, 36-40, and 36-40.
YAREMIS RELUZ - PANAMA
At the Los Andes Mall, Panama City, Panama, on August 17th,
bantamweight Yaremis Reluz, 116¾, PRO DEBUT, of La Chorrera,
Panama, won a four-round split decision over Darylibeth Gil,
115.5, of Panama. Final judges scores were 39-37, 37-39, and
39-37.
YOO YE LEE - SOUTH KOREA
SO YOUNG LEE - SOUTH KOREA
On August 12, 2018, at the Gwanakgu Hall, Seoul, South Korea,
featherweight Yoo Ye Lee, 123½, PRO DEBUT, won a four-round
unanimous decision over So Young Lee, 123½, PRO DEBUT.
CSILLA MEGYERI - HUNGARY
In Budapest, Hungary, on August 12th, featherweight Renata
Rakoczi, 126.5, won by a third round TKO over Csilla Megyeri,
129¾, PRO DEBUT of Budapest, Hungary.
MARTHA HERNANDEZ - MEXICO
On August 9th, at the Deportivo Lázaro Cardenas, Mexico City,
Mexico, super bantamweight Martha Hernandez, 123, PRO DEBUT, of
Mexico, won a four-round split decision Jocelin Morales, 123, of
Nezahualcóyotl, México. Final judges scores were 39-38, 39-37,
and 37-39.
STANISLAVA SINOVEC - SERBIA
On
August 2,d at the Sportska Dvorana, Kakanj, super middleweight
Jasmina Merdic won a six-round unanimous decision over
Stanislava Sinovec, PRO DEBUT, of Novi Sad, Serbia.
