action in Japan, on Sunday afternoon, July 29th, at Okinawa
Convention Center Hall, in Okinawa there were two female bouts
on the card.
In a mainliner, WBO Junior
flyweight world champion Tsunami Tenkai, 108, of Tokyo, Japan,
won by a fourth TKO [1:33] over Gretchen Abaniel, 108, from
Philippines. This was Tenkai’s first title defense.
In an eight round bout, Flyweight Yumemi Ikemoto won by a
unanimous decision over Carleans Rivas from Philippines. Final
judges scores were 79-73 78-74 79-74.
