(JULY 22) On August 11, 2018, at the Mexico City Arena, in Mexico, they will be featuring two exciting female boxers on the card,  Mariana "Barby" Juarez vs. Terumi Nuki, 10-3-0 (7KO); and Jackie "Princesa Azteca" Nava vs. Alys Sanchez, 15-4-1 (4KO), of Maracay, Venezuela.

Juarez, 49-9-4 (18KO), of Mexico City, Mexico, will be fighting Japan's Nuki in a ten-round bout where she will be defending her WBC Bantamweight world title.  This will be a rematch for the two, as they previously fought on July 8, 2017, where Juarez defended her WBC Bantamweight title---winning the first time by a ten-round unanimous decision.

Juarez has fought twice in 2018, defending her title successfully in each bout,  first on February 17, 2018 against Gabriela Bouvier, and on April 28, 2018, fighting Carolina Arias, where she won both bouts by a unanimous decision.

Nava, 33-4-3 (14KO), last fought over a year ago, on February 4, 2017. In that bout, she was defending her WBC International Bantamweight title, where she defeated Ana Maria Lozano by a ten-round unanimous decision. In this bout on August 11th, she will be defending her title once again.

According to the WBC website,  Zanfer Promotions and Promociones del Pueblo had reached an agreement for broadcasting the match through TV Azteca and Televisa, simultaneously with their own commentators.  WBAN will keep you updated on this upcoming boxing event.
