(MAR 10) On Thursday night
(March 8th) at the Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan, on the "Victoriva"
boxing card, they featured an all-women's boxing event, that
featured seven female bouts on the card. In a mainliner,
there was a ten-round WBO Mini-Flyweight world championship,
with Kayoto Ebata, of Tokyo, Japan, defending her title.
She won by a close majority decision in this action-packed bout
against Ji-Hyun Park, of Incheon, South Korea. Final judges
scores were 97-93, 95-95, and 96-94.
In a second female bout for the
vacant WBO World Light Flyweight title, Tsunami Tenkai, won by
an eighth round RTD over Chaoz Minowa, when Minowa retired after
the eighth round.
