(FEB 19)  Today at the Mayweather Boxing Gym, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Louisa Hawton, 108 lbs., 7-0-0 (3KO), from Perth, Australia, was workingout at the gym, but she trains in California.  She is with  Trainer Jimmy Montoya, and boxing manager Elvis Grant.  Hawton is set to fight February 24, 2018 at the Forum, in Los Angeles, California.    Hawton will be fighting Anahi Torres for the vacant WBC International Light Flyweight title, according to Boxrec.

More about Hawton:  On other news sources, Hawton said she only started boxing after a friend had dragged her down to the gym initially.  She said, "I just really started for fitness but I just fell in love with it and I got that little bug in me and the fire started coming out and I couldn't stop.  I get nervous in most fights, like most people do, but I just turn it into energy and I have fun with. I'm always have fun with it, which is the main thing.  I think women work really hard just to put their name out there."

On August 20, 2016, Hawton won the WBO Light Flyweight title when she defeated Kei Takenaka by a ten round unanimous decision.
