(FEB 12) On Saturday, February 10th at the Gimnasio Municipal "Jose Neri Santos", Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Diana "Bonita" Fernandez, 113¼, from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, won by an eighth round TKO over Noemi "No No" Bosques, 112¼.

The bout was scheduled for ten rounds, and they were fighting for the vacant WBC International Junior Bantamweight title, in an action-packed bout, the two fought fiercely in most of the rounds, with Bosques going down the second round, receiving an eight count, and was knocked down to the canvas where she quickly got back up to her feet, in the eighth where the referee stopped the fight.

Fernandez improved her record to 17-2-0 (4KO), and Bosques is now 11-11-3 (2KO). The card was promoted by Reginaldo & Oswaldo Kuchle (Promociones del Pueblo).
