Results:  All-Women's Boxing Card in Japan!

(AUG 23)  On Monday night, August 20, 2018, at the Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan, there were seven female bouts on the All-Female boxing card.   The results were the following:

For the vacant OPBF Female Bantamweight title, Miyo Yoshida, 117.5,  won by a fifth round TD [1:39] in a  scheduled eight round bout, over Gretel de Paz, 116¼, of Philippines.  Final judges scores were 49-46 48-47 49-46.

In an Japan Female Atomweight bout(102 lbs) Nanae Suzuki, 100¼, of Tokyo, won by a sixth round unanimous decision over Akari Arase, 102, of Osaka, Japan.  Final judges scores were 56-58, 56-58, and 55-59.

Other fight results:

48.5kg Catch-weight 4 rounder - Kanae Maehara, 106, of Miyazaki, Japan won a four-round unanimous decision over Michiko Arai, 105¾, of Saitama, Japan.  Both making their pro debut. Final judges scores were 40-35, 40-36, and 40-35.  They said that  Michiko Arai was down once in the third rounds, but in actuality Arai was no knocked down, but just had slipped.

53kg Catch-weight - Rena Koizumi, 116, pro debut, won by a second TKO [1:43], over Saki Horiguchi, 115¾, Toyama, Japan.  The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

Minimumweight 4 rounder - Mont Blanc Miki, 104¾, of Tokyo, won a four-round split decision over Megumi Hosoda, 104¾, of Chiba, Japan.  Final judges scores 37-40, 39-37, and 39-38.

Atomweight - six rounds -  Eri Matsuda, 102, of Kanagawa, Japan, won a six-round unanimous controversial decision over Sana Hazuki, 101.5, of Fukuoka, Japan.  Final judges scores were 58-57, 58-56, and 58-56.

Bantamweight 6 rounder -  Yoshie Wakasa, 117¼, of Kanagawa, Japan, won a sixth-round split decision over Tomoko Okuda, 117¾, of Osaka, Japan.  Final judges scores were 58-56, 56-58, and 57-59.
