(DEC 21) Today the weigh-in was
held at the Blanco y Negro Restaurant, in Mexico City, Mexico,
with anticipation of tomorrow night’s fight featuring Layla
“Amazing “ McCarter vs. Erika “La Negra” Hernandez. At the
scales, McCarter weighed in at 140.7 and Hernandez, 137.3.
The contracted weight is for 141
maximum weight. The boxing event is being held at the Deportivo
Lázaro Cardenas, Mexico City. The two will be fighting eight
rounds in an non-title bout.
There is another female bout on
the card, that has strawweight Rosa Olvera facing Laura Yepez in
a scheduled four rounder.
In addition, there are eight men’s boxing matches on the card,
all subject to change.
