(APR 17)  Last night at The Trusts Arena in Auckland, New Zealand women's Boxing was alive and well as promoter Lisa Lewis of Royal Rampage Promotions put on a show of historic proportions, 7 of the 9 bouts were women bouts, 4 of those were for UBF [Universal Boxing Federation International Championship] and WBC championship titles.

Nydia Feliciano of Bronx, NY, USA, 125 lbs., , lived up to her alias “Dha Phenomenal” as she battled the undefeated Rebecca Jennings, 124 3/4 lbs.,  of Wellington, New Zealand via Chiswick, London, United Kingdom.

Both women had one thing clearly on their mind and that was a victory, both women engaged in a bout that delighted the fans in attendance and those witnessing the fight live over social media live streams. After 8 rounds of combat, judges Rosa Puni 73-79, Shelley Ashton 75-77, Mary Burgess 74-80, all three gave the nod to Nydia Feliciano improving her record to 9-7-3, while the previously undefeated Rebecca Jennings dropped to 4-1.
