Japan:  Nine Female Bouts on Card!

(MAR 3)  On Tuesday evening, March 1, 2016, on the "Dangan Ladies vol.1" boxing card,  held at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo Japan, and that featured nine female bouts on the card. Here are the following results:


OPBF 102 lb title - Masae Akitaya, 102, of  Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan, won an eight-round majority decision over Momoko Kanda, 101,  of Osaka, Japan, becoming  the new OPBF Atomweight champion.

OPBF 105 lb title - Saemi Hanagata, 105,  of Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, defeated Mika Oda, 105,  of Tokyo, Japan, by 5th round TKO(thrown in the towel) and became the new OPBF minimumweight title.

-54kg Tsunami Tenkai, 119¼, of Tokyo, Japan,  won over Emika Himuro,  118¾, of Tokyo, by RTD after the second round of a scheduled eight round bout.

In a six-round bout, Kayota Ebata, 107¼, of Tokyo, Japan, won by a fifth round TKO 0:20 seconds, against Sornsawan Sarakarngym (Birth name: Sornsawan Khunmar), 106¾, of Thailand.

Four-rounder, Sayaka Aoki, 102, of Tokyo,  won by a unanimous decision over Mikko Muto, 101½, of Tokyo.  Final judges scores were 39-37 on all cards.

Four-round bout, Ayumi Goto, 121½, of Tokyo,  won by a fourth round TKO 1:42 seconds, over Asami Jinnari, 122, of Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan.

Four-round bout, Erika Hanawa, 103¾, of Tokyo, won by a second round TKO 1:48 seconds, over Shisa Manopgym, 102¾, of Thailand.

Four-round bout, Yuki Koseki, 110¾, of Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, won by a second round TKO 0:46 seconds,  over Yumiko Shimooka, 110,  of Machida, Tokyo, Japan.

Lastly, in a four-rounder, Nanae Suzuki,  107, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Aymi Seki, 107.
