Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano to fight Helen "Iron Lady" Joseph for WBO Title

(JAN 7) On  January 16th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Amanda 'The Real Deal' Serrano battles the rough and tough Helen 'Iron Lady' Joseph for the vacant WBO Featherweight World Title.

This will be Serrano's second chance to reclaim a title at the featherweight division. The first took place on February 16, 2013, when she stopped Wanda Peña Ozuna of the Dominican Republic in the first round for the vacant WIBA and UBF titles.

"This opportunity is huge for me" says Amanda Serrano. Fighting at home in The Barclays is a dream come true. Thanks to my new promoter Lou Dibella for granting it to me. The fact that it's a World a Title shot adds even more to it. A great promoter on a great card for a legitimate World title is what dreams are made of", added Amanda.

Amanda is on a quest to tie fellow Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto's record of being a four division world champion. Already claiming titles at 126, 130, 135 pounds---her next step is going down one more weight class to fight for a world title at 122 lb., in the near future.

At only 27 years old this power puncher has plenty of time to achieve that and much more in her career!
