(OCT 30) Super featherweight Elizabeth Sherman, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, passed away on October 27, 2015. She was 35 years old. Sherman was a professional boxer, fighting from June of 2009 to April of 2013.

Sherman was known for being an all-action fighter, that was a tough as nails boxer. After not boxing professionally in 2013, she was working as a personal trainer in Charleston, South Carolina at the Title Boxing Club.

Many friends and the boxing community, contacted WBAN, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of this very special young boxer.
