Martha Salazar to Fight Tanzee Daniel for WBC Heavyweight Title November 8th!

(OCT 27)  On Saturday, November 8th, at the Longshoreman’s Hall 400 N. Point Street, San Francisco, CA 94133, OPP and Mo Betta Entertainment presents "Back to Business War" on the Wharf Pro/Am Boxing card.  The main event features San Francisco’s Karim Mayfield 18-2-1 who will face Michael Balasi Honolulu, Hawaii, in an eight-round non-title bout.

The co- main event will feature San Francisco’s own Martha Salazar who will face Tanzee Daniel of Jamaica, NY. These two top ranked women boxers will be boxing ten two-minute rounds for the WBC heavyweight world title. This will be the first time a WBC female world title will be fought for in the Bay Area.

Salazar said, “it’s been a tough journey training for this fight. This fight means everything to me especially that I am fighting for the WBC title which has been my dream to be a WBC champion since I started boxing."  Video of Salazar  

"I want to thank the WBC and Jill Diamond for working with us to make this happen. I also want to thank OPP Boxing for putting this history making title bout on their card November 8th", added Salazar.

There will also be four exciting professional bouts on the undercard which will include local line up of boxers: female bout, Marquita Lee vs. Laura Deanovic, Adam Field vs. Cesar Martinez Austin, Otis Seymourvs. Khrys Daniels and Ricardo Pinell vs. Rahman Yusobov.

Doors are open to the public at 5:30 p.m.,  and at that time an exciting amateur undercard will feature 6 male and 6 female Elite boxing bouts featuring top boxers from San Francisco and Nevada. National Champions Charlie Sheehy, Devon Hainey, Amisael Jimenez will be facing top ranked USA Boxers. There will also be a special amateur Masters debut on the card featuring media’s Beat the Count Mario Cabrera Jr. making his amateur debut vs. BoxingSponsors.com Bobby Sanchez.

Female Bouts on this card include Beautiful Brawlers: Iris Contreras, Tatiana Almaraz,  Dalia Gomez Valenzuela, Selena Hernandez, Mariana Gonzales, Martha Arroyo, Stephanie Garcia Vega, and a special heavy weight bout Oakland, CA , Beautiful Brawlers Champion Sara Kozuma vs. Striking Beauties, MA., Daniesha Lettice Toby – Richards.

You can purchase tickets for this show at Babyface Boxing and OPP Boxing. Ringside is $75, Floor $60 and general admission is $40
