Update as of July 29, 2014: This fight has been declared a "No Contest". Mathis vs. Christina Hammer
by Sue TL Fox
July 27, 2014

(JULY 27) DECLARED NO CONTEST AS OF JULY 29th.

Original story:  Christina Hammer received an EARLY Christmas Gift last night when she gets KO'd by her opponent and then gets to strap on TWO WORLD TITLE BELTS!

Wow, didn't know that Christmas would come so early for Germany's Christina Hammer who KEEPS her "undefeated" boxing record after being KO'd by her opponent from France, Anne Sophie Mathis!

You got it folks...on July 26, 2014 (yesterday), at the Anhalt Arena, Dessau, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, after Hammer was holding Mathis in the fifth round, and Mathis was punching, Hammer went down.  But then there is a call to have the decision go to Hammer by via DQ.  They said Mathis threw an illegal punch. With Hammer not being able to continue---she is then  DECLARED a WINNER!

WBAN's Thoughts:   GERMANY---do what is right---throw this fight out on it's EAR----make it a NO CONTEST---and have a rematch with these two boxers.

The  feedback that WBAN has received about this fight----it is obvious that boxing fans are OUTRAGED.

Oh...one last thought to those controlling the Christina Hammer Facebook Fan page---allow the boxing fans to express their disgust in this situation----

One of WBAN's members on our Facebook wrote the following, "Hundreds of people complaining about their posts being removed from Hammer's Facebook".

What is the problem---does the TRUTH hurt?
