Great Opportunity:  All Female Boxing Clinic - April 17, 18, 19th at the Gleason's Gym!

(APR 16)  To all the female boxers who would love to enjoy a unique opportunity to attend an all-female boxing clinic, Gleason's Gym will host their fourth All Female Boxing Clinic on April 17, 18 and 19, 2014. Now IF you are INTERESTED in ATTENDING and/or COMPETING, email:  matchmaker@gleasonsgym.net 

The have an amazing staff of trainers that includes ALICIA ASHLEY, a professional multi-world champion; an undefeated pro boxer HEATHER HARDY, 9-0-0 (2KO), and also a Amateur National Champion; SONYA LAMONAKIS, New York Heavyweight Champion, and Four Time Golden Glove Champion and Amateur World Champion; and Jackie Atkins, Ringside World Champion and National Golden Glove Champion.

Pro boxers will be there for two days of boxing basics followed by a sanctioned all female boxing show.

Details from the press release is as follows:

The amateur show will be sanctioned by USA Boxing metro. You will need a book to fight.  
The cost of the clinic is $349.00.

You do not have to attend the clinic to participate in the boxing show.  P.S. If you can't make it but still want to see the fights, they'll be streaming at Gleason's Gym website: gleasonsgym.net

Also,  Melissa Smith will talk about her new book and give a great talk about the history of Women's Boxing.  Smith has written a FANTASTIC book on the history of women's boxing.  She is also on the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame Board, and her book comes out in July. 

Lastly, meet Founder and CEO, Jennie Walker, as she launches "Jenniegirl" boxing apparel and gear during Gleason's Gym all women's boxing clinic and amateur boxing show.
