Stephen Blea & Raylene Carbone- WBC Cares Colorado Members....We
are happy to announce that we are doing a WBC Cares CO- KO
Cancer Benefit of Amateur Boxing with Colorado
Golden Gloves Charities Gym to benefit Diedre
Vickers/Strauch, whom is battling stage four Colon Cancer.
Bouts will be held on March 15th at 3pm. Located at Golden
Gloves Boxing Gym 6161 W. 44th Ave.
World Boxing Council, will be providing all medals for
this event for 1st & 2nd place and Cleto Reyes will be providing
“Outstanding Boxers one Male & Female Boxing Gloves”, we
will also have a raffle for WBC merchandise as well. All funds
for this event will go to Diedre Vickers/Strauch family.
We also have invited past Women’s World Boxing Champion
Terri “LiL Loca” Cruz, and past WBC Champions
Robert “Red Hot” Allen and Manny “Manos” Perez
to appear as well, to give out autographs. We have also,
invited ESPN 1580 am to appear, Mr. Daryl “Big D” Collins
and WBAN.
With the Backing of our new
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman, and our WBC
Cares Chairwomen Jill Diamond Chastain and our WBC & Our
WBC Cares Family, and Cleto Reyes,
we are able to Support all these awesome community events to
help our fellow brothers & sisters out during these hard times
of giving hope and support, this program was started over 10
years ago by our Past WBC President Jose Sulaiman
whom recently passed away.
The Main Goal of WBC Cares Program is and always
has been a way of supporting our all boxers and instilling them
the idea of giving back to our communities on all levels as
amateurs or professionals. Our WBC Cares has given support to
orphanages and hospitals all over the World and including the
US.
